If you can increase your AOV, you increase the profit vs your customer acquisition cost. By offering bundles, increasing prices, adjusting shipping costs and recommending higher priced items consistently we increased our AOV from £33 to £40.
/ Customer Service / Trust Building
With trust building messaging in key areas of the product page, customers placed orders with a more trusting (I've got nothing to lose) attitude. Followed up with a forgiving, customer-is-queen attitude — every customer left our phone calls or email exchanges very happy. This keeps them as a customer and saves us from finding a new one with paid advertising.
